Language Scheme
This is the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission’s (CCPC) first Language Scheme and it will be in effect for the period 2021-2024. The Official Languages Act 2003 provides for the preparation by public bodies of a language scheme detailing the services they will provide:
- through the medium of Irish;
- through the medium of English, and;
- through the medium of Irish and English;
and the measures to be adopted to ensure that any service not currently provided by the body through the medium of the Irish language will be so provided within an agreed timeframe.
Scéim Teanga
Is à seo an chéad Scéim Teanga de chuid an Choimisiúin um IomaÃocht agus Cosaint Tomhaltóirà (CCPC) agus beidh sà i bhfeidhm don tréimhse 2021-2024. Forálann Acht na dTeangacha Oifigiúla 2003 go réiteoidh comhlachtaà poiblà Scéim Teanga ina dtabharfar sonraà maidir leis na seirbhÃsà a sholáthróidh siad:
- trà mheán na Gaeilge;
- trà mheán an Bhéarla, agus;
- trà mheán na Gaeilge agus an Bhéarla;
agus na bearta a chuirfear i bhfeidhm d’fhonn a chinntiú go mbeidh aon seirbhÃs nach bhfuil an comhlacht ag soláthar trà mheán na Gaeilge faoi láthair á cur ar fáil taobh istigh de thréimhse ama a bheidh aontaithe.
