Product Safety Information Notice on Kids Cartoon Themed Sandals sold on the TEMU platform

A safety issue has been identified with Kids Cartoon Themed Sandals sold on the TEMU platform. 

The risk reported to CCPC is chemical due to the presence of banned/restricted chemicals; Phthalates, Extractable Cadmium and lead, which can harm children’s health by potentially damaging their reproductive system. 

The brand is Jiageya. The batch number is JGY240128168. 

 There is approximately 1 affected product in the Republic of Ireland.   

 

What to do:  

Customers should stop using the product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.  

Temu has contacted affected consumers regarding this recall on behalf of the seller, and reimbursements have been issued to those impacted.
